Chinese school denies cyber-attack on Google

A Chinese school linked to cyber-attacks on Google has denied any involvement.

Xinhua news agency reports the Lanxiang Vocational School in Shandong Province, says it has found no trace the attacks originated from its school.

On thursday the New York Times had reported that the cyber-attacks aimed at Google and dozens of other firms were traced to computers at two Chinese schools.

Citing unidentified anonymous sources, the New York Times said trails led to Shanghai Jiaotong University and the Lanxiang Vocational School,

The paper says the Lanxiang Vocational School which was founded in 1984 with military backing also trains their computer scientists.

But the school denies any relationship with the military and rejects the links made in the New York Times.
